I just realized what it was about this picture that kept seeming "off".
Without even enlarging it I know that it's from Rivendell because I can see the head-tube lugs, and the bell, and the basket, and the cheap looking crankset and pedals...
He's using a BOB trailer! Is this from the actual Riv website?
I did a image search for bike camping, so I'm not sure whose work I stole. I did wonder where the this picture was taken. Looks like Colorado from the shape of the mountains.
