This chimney rises from the ruins of an old WPA work camp site. Workers in the 30's lived at this site while doing infrastructure improvement projects to stimulate the economy

Looks like our neck of the woods - between Fort Snelling and Minnehaha Falls if I'm not mistaken.
We were on the St. Paul side. We rode from Near Harriet Island to 494 then west across the Mississippi. We rode 12.5 miles, the kids did great.
I think we rode part of this trail one time.
